Giving Tuesday ~ 2014
Before you begin your holiday shopping, start giving.
The wonderful staff of Epic Care receiving your donated hand creams last December. 120 patients received a tube of hand cream during the holiday season in 2013!
We have a day for giving thanks. We have days for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Charities, families, businesses, community centers, and individuals around the world come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.
Arbonne's Holiday Shea Butter Hand Cream Trio ~ this year's gift to the chemotherapy patients.
#Giving Tuesday Hand Cream Drive
This year, I once again am supporting #Giving Tuesday: a global day dedicated to giving back on December 2, 2014 ~ but I am starting early! It is wonderful to give gifts to those in need or hardship in December, but this year I am inspired to make a difference in someone's life by Thanksgiving, our national day for giving thanks when we take time to count the many blessings in our lives including our family, friends, and good health.
Please join me and make a small difference in the lives of chemotherapy patients. As a cancer survivor, I am forever tied to an inspiring community of patients, doctors, nurses, and families who fight this disease every day. Amongst the many horrible side effects chemotheraphy patients endure is dry skin, which can be particulary uncomfortable on hands and feet that become extremely dry and cracked.
I will be donating 30 tubes of Arbonne's Holiday Shea Butter Hand Creams to Epic Care in Pleasant Hill, California, the oncology practice where I received my cancer care treatments last year. My hope is that presenting this small, useful gift to the patients will help lift their spirits and as they undergo their treatments.
Your generosity last year allowed me to deliver hand creams for 120 patients to Epic Care. If you are able to do so, please consider making a $15 donation to add another hand cream on to the 30 I will be delivering to the patients. My goal is to deliver hand creams for 150 patients this year! You may send your contributions to me via PayPal at firstname.lastname@example.org or by check to Rimmy Singh, 471 Montecillo Drive, Walnut Creek, CA 94595. Please mark your donation with #GivingTuesday. Feel free to contact me with any questions with an email or by phone at 925.366.7674.
I cannot thank you enough for your support!
