Mrs. Frishe's PreK Class

Week of February 1, 2016

Welcome to Our Newest Classmember

We would like to welcome our new friend, whose name is yet to be determined. Thanks in large part to PetCo (and my understanding husband), our new class pet is a Bearded Dragon. Right now he/she (we won't know which for a while) is about 6-8 inches long. Name-and-gender-to-be-determined could possibly grow to 2 feet or more eventually.

Name-to-be-determined eats crickets, mealworms, earthworms, kale, parsley, apples, kiwi, zucchini, squash, and much more. If you care to send in any food for our new friend, it would be greatly appreciated.

Although students will not be allowed to handle name-to-be-determined, we do have a new classroom job, "Dragon Trainer." The daily Dragon Trainer will check to see when the dragon needs more food and water, spritz the terrarium with water through the screen on top, and observe and report on the dragon once an hour throughout the day. There is also a special costume for the trainer to wear.

Family Dance

Don't forget that our Family Dance is this Friday, 2/5, from 5-8pm. Refreshments will be available in the cafeteria and dancing will be in the gym. If you have not signed up yet, please let me know and we can send home another ticket order form. I look forward to seeing all the smooth dance moves!

Pictures from PreK

If your child is already enrolled in a Coweta County PreK classroom, it is not necessary to register them for Kindergarten. They are automatically registered.
