Who Is Usain St. Leo Bolt?
He was born August 21,1986 in Sherwood Content, a small town in Trelawny, Jamaica. A sprinter is a runner who competes in short races called sprints that are generally up to 200 meters in length.Bolt holds the world records in the men’s 100-meter and 200-meter races. He set the 100-meter record of 9.58 seconds on Aug. 16, 2009, at the World Championships for track and field in Berlin. Bolt set a world record of 19.19 seconds in the 200 meters at the championships four days later. Bolt also helped set a world record of 36.84 seconds in the 4 by 4 100-meter men’s relay while competing on the Jamaican team on August 11 in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

Usain Bolt has had to deal with Scoliosis, a curvature of the spine he had been born with, since his teens.In his first 100 meter dash he got a time of 10.03 seconds and he was questioned after his 9.74 time.Jamaican's were checked for a drug called methylxanthine.His training partner known as Yohan Blake was tested positive.

Now that Usain Bolt swept away the new records for 100 and 200 meter dash competitiveness has hired.Scientists are calling it the "Usain Bolt Effect" because he has significantly improved the average performance of the worlds top sprinters , who are now suddenly running about 1 per cent faster than they did prior to Usain Bolt's explosive appearance in 2008-a significant margin at this distance.

When I think of what he went through to get where he is now I know it's not impossible to be that successful.He has shown his skill and that makes me want to try also.I do a different race called the 800 meter dash.As Usain Bolt has shown persistence and integrity so will I also.I know the Usain Bolt effect has convinced me to try to get better and win.

In early 2009 Usain Bolt had gotten in a car accident that resulted in minor injury to his foot, but he broke his own world record in the one-hundred meter at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin.Bolt won the race in 9.58 seconds, smashing his previous record of 9.69.In 2010 Bolt's two-year unbeaten streak ended when he finally lost a race to Tyson Gay. At the 2013 World Championships in Moscow, Russia, Bolt won the one-hundred-meter sprint, the two-hundred-meter sprint, and the four-hundred-meter relay with his teammates. In 2015 he announced that he intends to retire after the 2017 World Championships in London
