The story about Achilles

Achilles was the greatest hero of the Trojan war and the central character of homer's epic poem "lliad". Achilles was the son of the sea-nymph, Thetis, and mortal Peleus. King of the myrmidons in Thessaly. He joined the greek armies at Troy. Thetis tried to make her son immortal by dipping him in the river Styx. But where she held his heel remained dry and became the vulnerable spot where Achilles received his death-wound
