Tiger Nation:

Congratulations to Coach Sullivan and the Boys’ Track Team for finishing as the Division 2, State Runner-Up!

We are down to the final week of the 2021-22 school year. GHS will be on a half day schedule on both Wednesday, May 25th and Thursday, May 26th with a dismissal time of 11:20 am.

Graduation will take place on Thursday, May 26th at 7 pm @ Tiger Stadium.

Congratulations to the following GHS staff members that we celebrated this week and will be retiring at the end of the school year: Tana Martin, Chita Navarro, Rick Spears and Kaleen West!

As always, thank you for your ongoing support of Gilbert High School!

  • Outstanding Fees - In order to receive your diploma, you must pay any late fees with Ms. Deb in the GHS Bookstore BEFORE GRADUATION PRACTICE. Bookstore hours are from 7AM - 2:45PM, closed 6th period. Payments can also be made online via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

  • Any Textbooks and Novels still checked out? - See Ms. Deb in the Bookstore to return them BEFORE GRADUATION PRACTICE.

  • Library books and overdue charges? See Ms. Jan in the Library BEFORE GRADUATION PRACTICE.

  • Cap & Gown Final Delivery #3 - Jostens will return with their final delivery on Wednesday, May 11th.

Gilbert Accelerated Middle School

Gilbert High School will be home to the Gilbert Accelerated Middle School this incoming 2022-23 school year! Students will be immersed in honors and accelerated curriculum with access to the resources of a comprehensive high school, while in a supportive cohort of other 7th and 8th-grade students. The learning experience is both academically rigorous and well-rounded, based on the application of knowledge and reflection, project-based learning, critical thinking, cross-curricular portfolio building, and student-centered learning approaches. Students gain access to the instructional expertise of high school/college-level faculty and are encouraged and supported to develop strong leadership and study skills, preparing them for a successful future in high school and beyond. EVIT Summer School Scholarships

A limited number of EVIT scholarships are available to students who will be attending EVIT in the fall. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.


  • Students must be attending EVIT in fall 2022

  • Students must complete the class(es) for which they are requesting a scholarship (note: an F is acceptable for the purpose of the scholarship, as long as the student completes the coursework and final exam)

Application Procedure:

  • If students wish to apply for a scholarship, they will pay for their class, then complete the application form:

  • Upon completion of the application form, students will be sent a document that must be signed by both the student and the parent and scanned/returned to summer school. This document will contain the specific criteria for the scholarship.

  • Upon successful completion of the course, scholarship recipients will be reimbursed for their tuition payment.

To enroll in a summer school course, please email your school counselor.

Infinite Campus - Important Dates For 2022/23

July 5th - On July 5th Infinite Campus will be down as we make some important updates. On this date the URL to access Infinite Campus will change. To access the new URL just visit www.gilbertschools.net/IC on July 6th 2022. Remember to update any bookmarks you have.

July 11th - Our Annual Update begins. It is very important that all families complete the online ‘Annual Update’ to prepare for the new school year. The ‘Annual Update’ in Infinite Campus allows you to tell us of any updates to your contact information, address changes, and updates to emergency contacts. In order to ensure we can communicate with you regarding your student, or in case of emergency, it is essential that we have your up to date contact details. Please log in to your Infinite Campus parent portal and complete your student’s ‘Annual Update’ today. To access the IC portal visit www.gilbertschools.net/IC

July 11th @ 4pm - The IC parent portal opens for all of our secondary students. The portal provides access to your student’s schedule and other important information for the new school year.

July 19th @ 4pm - The IC parent portal opens for all of our elementary students, including details of your student’s teacher(s) for the new school year.

Update - Free & Reduced Meals Program for 2022/23 School Year

School breakfasts and lunches will continue to be free for all students for the rest of the 2021-2022 school year. This will end on June 30, 2022. In order to receive free and reduced meals following July 1, 2022 families will need to fill out an application. Students who apply and are eligible for free and reduced meals will also receive additional benefits such as waived summer school fees, waived college testing fees, waived musical instrument fees, waived or reduced college application fees, reduced internet fees, and much more!
