The Rising Phoenix Early College High School Program
The Rising Phoenix Early College High School Program is an innovative collaboration between the Manitowoc Public School District and UW-Green Bay to provide students with an opportunity to get a head start on college. A group of current Lincoln High School sophomore students will be admitted to the program and will enroll during their junior and senior years. Students will become dually enrolled in college credit courses at Lincoln High School and UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus. Students have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma and two-year Associate of Arts and Sciences degree. The cost of the program is covered by the Manitowoc Public School District and with no cost to students or families. This is the fourth cohort that will be admitted to the program. The first cohort started in Fall 2020!
We will be hosting two information sessions for you to learn more about this opportunity. The first opportunity will take place during WIN on Thursday, February 2 and will be geared towards students. The second information night will be virtual on Feb. 15th at 6pm (link will be on the UWGB Rising Phoenix Webpage) If you cannot attend either of those times, please reach out to risingphoenix@uwgb.edu, and a recording can be provided. At the information session we will have representatives from Manitowoc Lincoln, UW-GB, and a student representative from the class of 2023 and 2024!
Applications are available online on the Rising Phoenix Website and are due March 15, 2023.
