PSAT/SAT/ACT Testing

School Day PSAT is October 11th for Sophomores and Juniors. Also for Freshman that registered in advance.

Fall Administration of the School Day SAT and ACT test is for SENIORS ONLY. We will offer a Spring SAT test for Juniors (registration details TBA).

School Day SAT is October 11.

School Day ACT is October 17.

Guiness World Record Mum

Help ORHS break the world record for the largest MUM! This is a project to unify ORHS students in a shared goal and to inspire them to reach for difficult goals. We will need supplies donated to complete the project. We will create the mum flower from plastic tablecloths. We need 1670 rolls of 9ft ribbons. Corporate sponsors are welcome! We encourage any student, present or former, to donate old Homecoming mum's to be tied into the giant mum. This will allow the ORHS family to participate in the record-breaking mum. We will invite the Guiness Book adjudicator to measure the mum at the Homecoming Game 10/27.

Students will meet after school in the main hallway on Senior Campus between the Front Office and Learning Stairs.

Homecoming Court Nominations begin 9/18

Students need to log on to the Student Voting booth on the SSO starting Sept 18th to cast their vote for round one. ALL students are automatically on the ballot (they don't need to apply). Round 2 of voting will be the top candidates for each grade and will be Oct 2 - Oct 9th. Students will be given more information during Eagle's Nest when voting begins.

HOCO Parade and Pep Rally 10/25

Line up for the parade will start at 4:30pm and the parade will begin rolling at 6pm. There will be a HOCO Pep Rally immediately following the parade at ORHS Football Stadium. Everyone is invited!

Homecoming Game 10/27

Kickoff is at 7:00pm at Woodforest Bank Stadium. Come cheer on the War Eagles as they take on Caney Creek.

Homecoming Dance 10/28

Saturday, October 28th from 8-11pm

Tickets are $20 pre-sale on school cash online beginning October 10th and $30 at the door

Students are not allowed to park on campus without a current hangtag. No exceptions.

Parking registration for Seniors and Juniors will continue if spaces are available. The fee for parking is $75.

To register do the following:

2. Click on STUDENT PARKING.

To access the parking registration, you will sign in using your student's username and password. Please note that students must have a current driver's license and insurance to complete their registration.
