Fall is Here!
Le Messager - École Frère Antoine October 2022
Adminstrators' Corner
Dear Frère Antoine Families,
After a beautiful, busy September, October has arrived with vibrant fall colors and we have been blessed with warm temperatures that have been enjoyed by our students as they enjoy the outdoors during their recess and outdoor physical activities.
We have been blessed with a wonderful start up to school this September. We are well into the routines of school and our students have settled into all the wonderful learning that is taking place in each classroom.
This fall, there are many reasons for the staff at École Frère Antoine to be thankful. We are abundantly thankful for being reunited with all of our Frère Antoine families in person once again. We are grateful for our families who have been supportive and helpful since the start of school. We are grateful for the words of kindness that we receive every day from our parent community. We are grateful for our bus drivers who bring our students safely to school. We are grateful for our office staff who work so diligently to ensure that families are taken care of when registering or calling the school. We are grateful for our custodians who ensure that our school is safe for our school family. We are grateful for our teachers who serve our students each day to ensure that they are learning and growing in Christ.
On Monday October 10th, we will pause and take time from our busy lives to celebrate Thanksgiving, a day when we humbly count our blessings and give thanks for the bounty we enjoy. May God's blessings be with you and your family during this time of Thanksgiving and throughout this school year. On behalf of the staff here at École FrèreAntoine, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy fall! 🌰 🍂

Terry Fox Run
On September 22nd, we gathered together as a school community and enjoyed the beautiful day with a great run/walk for the cure with the Terry Fox run! Students brought “Toonies for Terry”. Collectively, they raised just over $560 in donations for the Terry Fox Foundation. Thank you for making a donation to Terry’s Foundation.
We are very proud of our students who continued the legacy of Terry’s dream. This is a strong tradition that we hold dear at École Frère Antoine. As we honor Terry, we learn about his goal to fundraise dollars for cancer research. We also honor Terry by being active and enjoying a great run together as a community. Terry once said, “Anything is possible if you try.”
