IN THE KNOW! Information to Plan By....
Please have your class create thank you cards, poster, etc. as a thank you to the LIDS foundation and the Colts. I would like to send all these in one big box to the LIDS foundation. Please submit by end of day, Thursday, December 17.
Lesson plan feedback is meant to be supportive and should be viewed as such. It is my experience that exceptional lesson plans are the beginning of exceptional teaching. as you write lesson plans please keep in mind that they could be viewed by the state department, district support personnel and even parents. Full and complete lesson plans are the expectation. If you need any assistance please let me know via email.
2nd quarter Grades
As we close out the 2nd quarter and begin to enter grades please submit a copy of your grades to Ms. Stockton via email.
The school has purchased iPad Minis for each classroom which be given out soon. The purchase of these will allow us to finally implement the school-wide use of Classroom Dojo. Training was offered by Ms. Boaz recently and will be offered again. Stay tuned for more information. Can I get a Woof Woof?
Continue to focus on the components of gradual release in your lessons, particularly on the focus of your lesson. What do you want them to learn? How do you model this for students? How do you allow them to practice what you are teaching? How do you know they are getting it??
