Member Accomplishments

Texas Majors

Our Wylie FFA students showed their hearts out at major shows across the state! Congratulations are in order for Taylor Dent and Morgan Podlucky for winning their breeds with breeding rabbits at the Houston Livestock Show! We had a great run this year and can't wait to see what next year holds!

Wylie Show and Sale

Our students had a great time at our annual Wylie Show and Sale! Everyone presented their animals at their best and looked great out in the show ring! We would like to give a special thank you to our sponsors who make this show possible. We are forever grateful for y'all!

West Texas CDE Trip

Our members had a great time at our annual West Texas trip! They studied hard and we had many high placing teams and individuals. These contests helped to set out teams up for their overwhelming success at area. We also want to thank the supporter club for allowing us to have a fun night of bowling and lots of snacks!

Members of the Month

Barn Kid of the Month

Our barn kid of the month is Bailey Harris! Bailey has worked extremely hard with her goat all year and really stepped up her game for Wyllie Show and Sale. She kept her pen area clean and did a great job getting her goat presented at the show. Congrats Bailey!

FFA Member of the Month

Our FFA member of the month is Piper Alexander! Piper has been working extremely hard on the Horse Judging CDE team, placing 7th individual at area and advancing to state! This is a huge honor, especially for a freshman! Congrats Piper!

Meet Your Officer Team

Each month we are going to introduce one of our chapter officers. Up next is Presleigh Lamas! Presleigh is our 2020-2021 Wylie FFA Sentinel. This is her junior year in high school and 3rd year as an FFA member. His SAE project this year was showing a market hog. Presleigh has competed on the Quiz and Chapter Conducting LDE teams, as well as the Livestock Judging CDE team. One piece of advice that she would like to give FFA members is that they should get as involved as they can in the organization. FFA offers numerous opportunities to its members, and they should take advantage of them while they can.
