It was great seeing our pre-K, first to fifth-grade students and families at our Meet and Greet on Thursday and Friday! Tomorrow we welcome our Kindergarten to their Meet and Greet from 3:00 to 5:00. We are ecstatic about the upcoming year.

Daily Schedule


Breakfast starts 7:30-8:00- Students enter through cafeteria door number 4. Located by a back parking lot.

7:50- Doors open at the first bell to go to class. Students enter at grade-level doors.

School Starts at 8:00

M, T, TH, and F Dismissal at 2:45 at grade level doors where they enter.

On Monday, we will be showcased on Fox News and Channel 4 for their welcome back school live edition. We are excited to take part in this event. New trucks will be here bright and early to catch all of the fun.

Free Breakfast and Lunch

Free Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast and lunch are free this year. Breakfast and lunch are offered through the Cherry Creek Food and Nutrition Department. Students will use their student identification number to charge their meal accounts. This account may only be used to purchase a la carte food items. If your child eats breakfast, they may enter through the cafeteria doors which open at 7:30 a.m. Please do not drop your student off any earlier than 7:30 a.m. as there is no supervision prior to this time. Breakfast is available until 8:00 a.m. every day.

Student Arrival

Students can arrive on campus at 7:50. There is no supervision prior to 7:50, so do not drop your kids off before this time.

  • Please park in an appropriate spot, not in the fire lane.

  • Students will go to their grade level door to enter the building

  • Each door will have a staff member ready to greet them.

  • Parents are not allowed in the building before school

Student Dismissal

Students will be dismissed from their grade level door.

  • There is no longer a car pick-up line.
  • K-2 parents must pick their child(ren) up from their teacher.
  • All students MUST leave the playground until 3:10.
  • A separate bus loop on the north side of the school is provided for buses. Under no circumstances may parents park in this area.
  • REMEMBER - THE PARKING LOT IS A ONE-WAY SYSTEM.

PLEASE USE ALL CROSSWALKS!!!

Scooters, Bicycles, and Skateboards

Any of these items need to be walked or carried on school grounds until you are on Killarney. We have many students and people on school grounds during arrival and dismissal. Please help us create a safe environment by walking your bike, scooter, or skateboard when on the school premises.

Animals on Campus

Please keep all animals off school grounds between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. This includes bringing dogs to drop off and pick up. We have students who are allergic and also some who have been bitten by animals. The school grounds need to provide a feeling of safety for all our children.

This year we will fully implement Talking Points for all school communication. Talking Points is an app or text message system that can translate in over 50 languages. Please take time to download the app, you will receive an invite soon to join your teacher's class.
