A Note From the Director

This week at ECDC we enjoyed a visit from Officer West, a field trip to Livesay Orchard, and pretending to be bakers!

Our garden is in need of BULBS to plant. If you are willing, we would love donations of crocus and hyacinth bulbs. Mrs. O'Neal will plant them in our garden so we can enjoy their beautiful blooms! Any donations will be taken through October 1st. Thank you!

We are now accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year. If you have a younger child at home or know someone interested in our preschool, please click HERE to complete an application. Current ECDC students do not need to apply for next year. Re-enrollment information for students returning to ECDC will go home in January.

Fall Pictures will be taken on October 5th and 6th. Order forms are going home in your child's folders on Monday and Tuesday next week. Please return them before picture day. We are using a new photographer (and ECDC parent!) this year, Sarah McElravy. Unfortunately, our spring photos from last year will not be available for purchasing. We look forward to working with The Sarah Image Photography for this year's photos!

The field at the big school playground will be closed from Wednesday, October 6th through the morning of Friday, October 8th for the Holy Smokes Cigar Dinner.

New Family Ministry Launch

At the Parish of Christ the King, we aim to equip our families to build their domestic church by learning how to pray and live out their faith together. • Registration for First-time Users:
    • Visit
    • Select “First-Time Registrant” to create an online VIRTUS account.
    • Follow the onscreen step-by-step instructions for completing the process. We require all volunteers to start this process no later than two week before the date of volunteering.

Holy Smokes Cigar Dinner

A gentleman’s evening on October 7th benefiting the Mark Mandeville Bursar of the Christ the King Education Endowment Fund. Over its 25 year history, the Cigar Dinner has annually brought several hundred men, both from within and from outside the Christ the King community, together in a fun, albeit somewhat smoky atmosphere. In addition to the fun and the many stories for those who have attended regularly, the Cigar Dinner has raised well in excess of $400,000 for the CTK Education Endowment Fund. It has been a success from both a community and financial standpoint and it is hoped that it will continue for years to come.

Tulsa Rosary Rally

The 5th Annual Tulsa Rosary Rally and Run are coming soon. Mark your calendars to join us on Saturday, October 23, 8:00 am at the Gardens at LaFortune Park. Events include an outdoor Mass, rosary-themed 5k run, rosary walk, and capped off with the popular Rosary Relay. Get all the details and sign up to attend at
