The Hunting Ground
Wednesday, 5 PM - 7 PM | North Creek Events Center
On April 6th, The Cascadia Activities Board and the UWB Campus Events board will be screening the documentary “The Hunting Ground”. This documentary is “an exposé of rape crimes on U.S. college campuses, their institutional cover-ups, and the devastating toll they take on students and their families.” (IMDB)
Following the film there will be a group discussion with campus administrators, as well as a panel presentation so students can learn about the Title IX Report Process, Criminal Process, survivors rights, and resources available on our campus. Due to the sensitive nature of this documentary, there will be counselors present to help students process the information and to address the needs of students should anyone become triggered by the material presented. By attending this session students will learn about the process for reporting sexual assault at Cascadia and UWB, as well as the resources available to them.
