The Reason
The Olympics was a way to get every nation to gather in one place and enjoy different games for prizes. But there was a under the table meaning for the games.
Hitler's motives.
Adolf Hitler saw the games as a way to promote his thoughts on racial supremacy. He did not allow Jews, Gypsies, or Poles from Germany take place in any part of the games. Later on, he succeeded with Germany winning most of the medals of the games.
Aftermath of the Games.
After the games, the persecution of the Jews continued within two days after the games. Three years after the games in 1939 on September 1, Nazi Germany took over Poland and ignited what was to come two days later, World War II
