That contains scripture verses and stories from when Jesus ( Gods son ) walked the earth, and even before that. They are monotheistic , meaning they believe in one God. A brief history of Christianity - Christianity derived from Judaism and was spread by Jesus's deciples. They have a book full of versus and stories, not the bible, called the mitzvoth of Torah. They often pray to Mary. They recite what they learned form the Torah. They don't directly ask forgiveness from God. Instead they ask forgiveness from the "father". Judaism originated in Israel around 4,000 years ago.
