Hi GIS Families!

The end of February is practically here! We had our last ski and ride day, and I would love to thank the chaperones, the Grand Isle Rec Committee, and our staff for supporting these trips for our kiddos! It isn't possible without them, and they all play a critical part in making the program run smoothly and safely. Also, a big thanks to Smuggs for making this affordable for families!

This week is spirit week, and you can find the day's themes on our website calendar and below in the newsletter. Tomorrow is our 30-minute teacher swap day because kids have earned 4,000 PAWS! Kids don't know which grades they are going to yet, which makes it all the more fun! Teachers plan fun activities with kids they don't normally teach during the day, and we'll try to go Live on Facebook at 2 PM so you can join in on the fun.

When we return from break, the end of Trimester 2 will be quickly upon us. I will keep you posted on when report cards will be distributed. All report cards are distributed electronically, so please be sure we have the correct email. You can email Ms. Leonard with those changes.

We're looking forward to the K-3 Music Night on Wednesday and seeing families there.

Our school is buzzing after hours with many fun offerings! There is a HIIT workout class, Zumba, wrestling, and many offerings from the rec committee. If you're curious about when things are being offered, please email Ms. Leonard, and she can give you the official schedule!
