Run Hard

Register now to be a part of Meadow Glen's Run Hard team!

Run Hard is for boys in 6, 7, and 8 grade. It's open to anyone that wants to participate! Flyers with registration information can be picked up in the front office. The first practice will be on Tuesday, March 8, but you can register now.

Register online! All practices will be held at MGM after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Fixer Upper Gator Style

The MGM SIC is coordinating a spring project to improve the inside and outside appearance and appeal of the portables. The project will run from March 1 - April 15, and we are encouraging MGM parents and community members to be a part of this project. We need idea people to help plan the improvements; volunteers to renovate, paint, landscape, etc; and donations of supplies, equipment, or money. Anyone interested in helping should contact the MGM school office by March 1. Watch our FIXER UPPER | GATOR STYLE video and get involved!

Get Your Gator Tales Yearbook

The Gator Tales yearbook now costs $65 until March 18. This is will be the last chance to pre-order. Orders may be made in the MGM office using the order form or online. Click HERE to order online.

Yearbook Needs Action Photos

The yearbook is in need of any action photos of 7th or 8th grade students who have participated this school year or are currently participating in Riverbluff sports. Please send your photos to by Friday, February 19. We are in need of tennis, wrestling, lacrosse, soccer, softball, baseball, swimming, and golf.

Healing Hearts

Healing Hearts, a grief support program for students and families in Lexington 1, is being offered at Meadow Glen Middle, March 7, 2016 from 6-8. Please see the attached brochure and send in your registration by March 4, 2016.

Math & Accelerated Math: All Math Classes: Chapter 7 Retake is Friday, February 19.

ELA & Accelerated ELA: No assessments this week; we will begin studying poetry

Science: On Friday, February 19th students will have a formative assessment in which they will be allowed to use their classwork. Students should have these assignments completed beforeFriday: Properties of Metals and Nonmetals, Physical and Chemical Properties, Messing with Metals Lab, and Density Practice (will be completed in class on Thursday).

On Tuesday, February 23rd students will have a summative test on Atoms, Periodic Table, Metals and Nonmetals, Chemical Symbols, and Properties of Matter. Students will receive a detailed study guide on Tuesday, February 16th to prepare for the test. Students should complete classwork and study the study guide at least 15 minutes every night.
