Hey this is Matt Scott, Principal @ Creekside Primary.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Spring Break and a wonderful Easter holiday.
This is National Assistant Principals Week! Please join me in celebrating Mrs. Nona Adams, our superstar Assistant Principal! Mrs. Adams has been our AP for the last 11 years. Mrs. Adams was recently named our District 1 AP of the year and was a finalist for Alabama AP of the year. We love Mrs. Adams and we are thankful for her hard work and dedication. Thank you Mrs. Adams!
We only have 8 weeks of school left!?!
The last day of school will be May 27th. May 27th will be a ½ day of school.
We will not have After School Tutoring this Tuesday.

Spring pictures have been moved to April 16th.
We have had a great school year and everyone has worked so hard to keep our school a safe place. I am very proud of everyone’s efforts! Students, parents, teachers and all of our Creekside staff have all done a tremendous job during the pandemic. I am thankful we have been able to stay open and stay safe. Thank you and GREAT JOB!
We use Remind as a communication tool at Creekside. Each Creekside bus has its own Remind code. For example, if you child rides Bus 57, then parents will need to sign up for Bus 57’s Remind code. These Remind codes can be found on our school’s website and on our digital newsletter. ~ LINK for Bus Remind codes
As a reminder, we are doing our best to keep our school a safe and healthy place for our students and our staff. Parents, please do not send your child to school if they have a fever, have a cough, or they have thrown up. Please stay in direct communication with your child’s teacher and our school nurse if your child is sick and needs to stay home.
Check out our “Parent Resource Page” section of our online newsletter.
Be sure to check out our school improvement plan on our resource page. In our school improvement plan we have goals for reading and math instruction.

At Creekside we use the Remind program to deliver communications to everyone. We send out weekly communications through Remind and if you are not receiving Remind messages from us please sign up at this LINK.
Anyone can add a phone number or an email address to our Remind service.
