CHARACTER STRONG: Family Dare: Letter of Gratitude
Everyone think of one person in the family they are really thankful for and write them a letter telling them all the reasons they appreciate them.

STAAR Reading Practice Assessment
5th grade will take the practice assessment on Wednesday, February 19.
6th grade will take the practice assessment on Thursday, February 20.
A lunch will be at 11:42 a.m.
B lunch will be at 11:12 a.m.
C lunch, no change
No change to lunches on Thursday, February 20.
Students may want to bring a small snack. Help us by providing your child with a snack that will not require a lot of clean up. Please refrain from sending candy or items that require utensils.
Some suggested snacks include:

Pretzels
Gold Fish
Animal Crackers
Fruit Snacks

What inspired you to work with children? I was inspired by the teachers I had growing up who made class an interesting and exciting place to come to.
What is your favorite book? Holes

If you could have any other career, what would it be? Morning radio DJ
Who do you consider your hero? My dad

How long have you been at BBI? 2nd year at BBI
Where are you from and where did you grow up? Arkansas to both.
What inspired you to work with children? Not really a what but a who - my mom was a teacher when I was young. By her example she inspired me to do the same.
What is your favorite book? I don't have a favorite book, I've enjoyed reading The Road Back to You book this summer.
What was your favorite subject in school? Math
If you could learn to do one thing, what would it be? I would love to be able to speak another language.
If you could have any other career, what would it be? Maybe a counselor, something where I was helping people.
Who do you consider your hero? I've always viewed my "Hero" as Jesus and try to love and live a life that would point others to Christ.
People would be surprised to know…I am an introvert, but I sing on the Praise team for our church.

BBIS General Information
Early morning child care begins at 6:30 a.m. and all students must be enrolled online through the MISD website.
The first bell rings at 7:55 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8:00 a.m. The instructional day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m.
