Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,
This message is intended for only one purpose- to thank the Forest View PTA for two recent fun events. October 4 was the Fox Fun Run and October 5 was the Fox Festival. Both events were very successful and thoroughly enjoyed by all who came. Even Mother Nature cooperated and avoided pouring rain down on us when the entire week was a wet one.
Major events like this don't happen without a lot of synergizing. My sources tell me that the following people were instrumental in planning out the Fun Run and Fox Festival. A great big thank you goes out to Amber Ables, Amy Barrett, Natalie Bass, Christine Benton, Joanna Brown, Dominique Chancy, Julie Djurich, Gretchen Donner, Mary Jo Durant, Kate Edwards, Tracy Hearshman, Colleen Morrisey, Lana Peck, Laura Perere, Nate Richerson, Jennifer Robinson, Jen Shubin, Nicole Smith, Chris Starnes, Staci Terstriep, Kim Treff, Jamie Turner, and Jo Wiseman.
I also want to thank everyone who donated to this fundraising effort. The money raised will go directly back to your children in many ways. A special thanks to the following contributors: The Donner Group; Jim Hord, CPA; DeElliotte Co. Inc.; Bulger Ace Hardware True Value; Moore Homes- Lisa Moore; Allstate Protection Solutions; Puma- F.C. Soccer Club; The Sash Group- Home Remodel; Nili Rodriguez; Grin Eye Care- Breanne Niebuhr; Joanna Brown- The Hellings Group; Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate; Lenexa Baptist Church; Linder Family; Gee Family; and Sylas & Maddy's.
Planning is already underway for the 2019 Fox Fun Run and Fox Festival. See you next year!
Sincerely,
Dr. Heck
