We would love to see as many parents as possible at Parent University in March month. Parents throughout the district will gather together to discuss pertinent topics with district officials. This session we will be covering Social Emotional Learning. Please fill out the form below to confirm your attendance. Food trucks will be present and we do offer childcare for school aged children. We hope to see you there!!
Third Grade Parent Night
Parents we will be reviewing the 3rd grade Ohio State Tests and the implications for students on Jan. 28th. Mrs. Conley and third grade teachers will meet after school at 6:30 in the cafeteria to present and answer all of your questions regarding testing. You will receive your child's detailed results from the fall test! We will discuss test expectations, resources you can use at home to help you become more familiar with state testing expectations.
Change of Address
Remember, if you move out of district but still prefer your child(ren) to attend Slate Ridge, please go to the Welcome Center on Graham Rd. within 10 days of your move to apply for open enrollment status. Anyone who fails to change their address after they have moved will be denied open enrollment.
Treats Reminder
Just a reminder about celebrations and treats at school; as a safety precaution we no longer allow families to send food items to school for birthday/celebration treats. We highly encourage non-edible items like pencils, erasers or something that students can play with or use in class.
If there is a time where extra food items are to be provided by the school we will be sure to send a permission slip home with your child so that we have your consent and permission to feed your child outside of the typical cafeteria breakfast and lunch menu!
Thank you for your cooperation.
Severe Weather Procedures
We are now heading into our second semester as well as the cold weather season. Please follow Reynoldsburg City Schools personnel on Twitter in order to be made aware of school cancellations due to inclimate weather. If school is in fact canceled, we will post on Twitter, and Facebook, send out an all call, and post to the district website. All school cancellations will be on local news channels as well.
Please be sure to update us with new phone numbers!
