Message from Mr. Burns
Hi Wims Families,
It looks like the snow missed our Clarksburg community this weekend. According to all the forecasts, it seems that there will be more opportunities this winter for some snow:)
Just a reminder, please make sure your child is appropriately dressed to go outside for recess. We try to get outside as much as possible during the winter season so students can run around and get some fresh air!
Our PTA has a lot of great events happening over the next couple of months. Please be sure to check out all the information below in our PTA section. Any support you can provide is appreciated!

Grandparents Day Pictures
There has a been a delay getting the pictures taken at Grandparents Day. However, Lifetouch is printing a free 5 x 7 photo for all our families who got their photo taken. We expect the photos to be delivered to the main office soon. In the meantime, Lifetouch provided us the following link if families wanted to order any additional photos. https://my.photoday.com/gallery/wilson-wims-element

From the PTA Board
Dear Families,
We hope you stayed nice & warm this weekend. I know the kiddos were hoping to play outside in the snow, but instead were stuck indoors hiding from a very cold rain. It was a nice Saturday sitting in front of the fire.
This message contains some important reminders. Registration to attend Bingo Night and to compete in the Spelling Bee will CLOSE ON JANUARY 12th (or when Bingo reaches capacity). Please don’t wait to sign up! You can find the links below. We desperately need your help with Bingo Night. This event specifically benefits our Wims’ 5th Grade Class in their promotion to middle school. By donating prizes and items for our concession stand, you help lower the cost of the event so that funds can be used for their end of year celebration & field trip, commemorative Wims’ t-shirt, and reception. This is an extremely important event for these students who will be leaving Wims. Please help us make this a special year for them. The links to donate or volunteer are also below.
This message also contains links to sign up for winter after-school programming as well as the S.T.E.A.M. Expo! Both Spanish and hop-hop dance are under the capacity needed, so please consider them if they are of interest to your students.
Finally, please join us for our January PTA Meeting on Tuesday, January 9th at 6:30 in the Media Center. As always, in-person attendance is highly encouraged to facilitate our family environment. A Zoom link is provided below for those who cannot attend in person.
Have a Wonderful Wildcat Week!
