It's going to be a great year!

I am so excited to be your new school counselor!

A little about me

I attended the Smithville school district K-12th grade and I am a proud alum. After high school I became a Bearcat and attended Northwest Missouri State for my bachelors. This is where I met my husband and we reside here in Smithville. I have four beautiful children and they are in 8th, 5th, and 3rd grade.

I have worked in the district for some time as an IA as well as substitute teacher. In my previous careers I have been a Parent Educator for the Liberty School District as well as a Family Advocate for Northland Head start. I am a recent graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene where I received my Masters degree in School Counseling. I have been dreaming about this day for a long time and I am so excited to get to know you and your students very soon. I have an open door policy and would love for you to stop by my office or send me an email if that is easier. My goal is to make your job easier by giving you the support that you and your students are in need of.

A few personal things about me. I LOVE my morning coffee, dark chocolate and finding time to connect with loved ones and family. Most nights you will find me on some form of a ball field or in a gym. In my spare time I love being creative with cooking and designing as well as getting lost in a good book.
