I Joined Graduate Yelm Because...
"It’s important to instill the value of education in our youth. We love partnering with the schools from the athletic programs to the academic programs and know it's important that we continue to work hard so that all of our students achieve success!"
— Andrew Mohl, Yelm Tornado Youth Football and Cheer

Graduate Yelm! Contributes to Increased Graduation Rates
Since Graduate Yelm! Launched in 2018, Yelm Community Schools has experienced increased graduation rates for two consecutive years and expects to reach 100 percent graduation as our community expands our collective impact.
Graduate Yelm! Partners Help Make Holidays Special for everyone
Through a community-wide effort, YCS was able to provide Thanksgiving meals to more than 150 families district-wide. This was made possible thanks to the donations made by Bounty for Families, the Longshore and Warehouse Union Local #23, Yelm Chiropractic, For the Love, Yelm Grocery Outlet, Yelm Walmart, Anytime Fitness, and through the help of Together! of Thurston County, and the VFW Post 5878.
What is a Collective Impact Initiative?
Collective impact means that we have a common goal and are all working together to achieve it. Our goal is 100 percent graduation and we are counting on your support to transforming the language from "if you graduate" to "when you graduate." Distance learning isn't easy on teachers, parents and, most importantly, students. We are asking our community, our local businesses, and local government officials to join our effort by encouraging students and families to stay engaged in education and to reach out for help as needed. Together, we can tackle this complex challenge.
