St. Pat's Weekly Bulletin
May 7, 2017
May, the month in which the earth springs into bloom and we start thinking about planting gardens, family picnics, and making vacation plans.
It’s also the Month of Mary. This Thursday, May 11th at 1:00 pm the staff and students will be gathered together during the Living Rosary. Please note at all are invited to join us in the Living Rosary.
Prayer
It becomes you to be mindful of us, as you stand near him who granted you all graces, for you are the Mother of God and our Queen. Help us for the sake of the King, the Lord God and Master who was born of you. For this reason, you are called full of grace. Remember us, most holy Virgin, and bestow on us gifts from the riches of your graces, Virgin full of graces. Amen (St Athanasius).
Administrative Changes
Along with Spring flowers, May always brings with it the winds of change. This year is no different, as Monday, May 1st brought with it some unexpected changes for our staff for the upcoming school year. More announcements will be made during the month. Stay tuned to the SMORE for more - we will keep parents posted as things are announced.
On Monday, I was informed that I would be leaving St, Pat's in order to lead Madonna Catholic School in Sherwood Park.
The news is bittersweet. EICS leadership is very pleased with what has transpired over the past 2 years at St Pat's and is confident that the work we have done will be moving forward.
Mr. Bob Charchun, the current assistant principal at OLMP in Camrose, will join the St.Patrick family in August 2017, as Principal. Mrs. Michelle Nanias will be the assistant principal. Rest assured your children and the staff are in great hands. Much will be accomplished under their leadership.
Although I do not leave the fold until June 30, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all the children, great families, and staff whom I love and cherish so much. I will take with me many memories, and will miss you deeply.
Love and Blessings
Mrs. Antoniuk
