Carving Pumpkins, A Fall Tradition.
A carved pumpkin is called a Jack-O-Lantern. Pumpkin carving is a 10,000 year old Irish tradition. Pumpkins were carved into faces of spirits thought to be active during the fall season. Over the years pumpkin carving has become an American tradition.
Carve your own pumpkin; you'll only need a few things:
You can also toast the pumpkin seeds!
2) Put seeds on a baking sheet.
3) Drizzle oil, add salt and pepper.
