Trantwood Times
"Captivating Every Student, Every Day!"
An Attitude of Gratitude Rocks!
- I would like to sincerely thank the staff and students of Trantwood for being so supportive and kind during my first two weeks. It is already evident to me that I am surrounded by an amazing group of people who love and serve the children and community of Trantwood. Thank you for making me feel like part of the family in my short time at Trantwood. I am looking forward to sharing many great memories in the days ahead. Karen Lewis
- To everyone who helped us move out and then back into classrooms - my heart bulges with pride as I think about what you've done. Thank you for helping both Jenny and Claire relocate their rooms. I have raved to everyone who will listen and they agree with me, you are truly a dream team! I kove being a part of the nest! LAM
Kudos Beth Wik! Beth has taken 4 very wiggle and uninterested 4th grade boys and got them excited and engaged in a Novel. They come to our room and can’t wait for the next chapter. It brings us JOY seeing them excited about reading! Cazzy
Many thanks to Kim and Claire for helping me get acquainted to teaching the VB way. You two are wonderful! Allyson Roseberry
Thanks to Tim Cassidy, Kim Odom, and Gina Howes for taking the lead in being diligent school wide trainers of the 3S line! I really noticed a big difference today! Beth Wik
To Mrs. Lewis for jumping in with both feet and staying afloat! She has had a busy few weeks and we appreciate everything she has done. Nancy Lambert
Thank you to everyone who helped out with our Winter Program! Thank you to Ms. Williams and all of the Custodial Staff in preparing the cafeteria for the Winter Program. Thank you to Mrs. Lambert for being our videographer and helping with stage decorations. Thank you to Mrs. Bailey for assisting backstage and having lovely third grade artwork to display at the program. Thank you to Mr. Cassidy, Mrs. Howes, and Ms. Odom for assisting with the third grade during all the rehearsals this week. Thank you to Mrs. Phelps for helping out with the strings students tonight. Thank you to Ms. Catt, Ms. Johnson, and Mrs. Roseberry for your support and being with your students at the program. I appreciate all of your help in helping to create a special night for our students. –Mrs. Lane.
Kudos to every teacher working as a team! This week with the simple change of quiet halls shows how strong we all are when we work together!
For the safety of our students...
Please remind your students about the following guidelines when bringing holiday treats to school:

- Store bought items only are permitted.
- Items will be checked by the nurse prior to sending them to your room.
- A label will be attached to each treat checked.
