Digital Citizenship: What is it? Why is it important?
Digital Citizenship is all about everything online that can help you from getting in trouble to knowing how you should share things and how you should learn online. For example if you are looking up something about history and you need to write about it you should never "Plagiarize" if you do nothing about that answer will go well with anyone you gave it to or you just may get into major trouble. Now if you were online and you were about to get in you were mad at someone and they wanted to do something wrong like a fight which can get you in trouble Digital citizenship explains that people say things online that they would never do in real life. So you should never try to say something back that is mean. If you choose to do that it will just lead to bad things or you have the decision to copy it send it to the website or just print it and have your parents help you. Lastly if your were online and you had a party you wanted to share with your friends but you wanted many people to be there than you shouldn't just post it on a public app or website if you choose to do that there are people out there that would love to know where a kid lives. That may seem a little creepy but there are people. So you should just start a group message to send to all your friends so no one else hears about it.
