After the parents and students shopped for books during Eunice Elementary's spring book fair, they were able to visit grade levels and participate in STEM activities. This involved making different types of webs using yarn and paper plates. Marshmallows and toothpicks were used to construct buildings. Paper towel rolls were turned into octopuses. Pencils, rubber bands, and spools became racing cars. There were activities for kindergarten, first, second, third and fourth grade. KROTZ SPRINGS ELEMENTARY

Prestigious PBIS

Can’t Tame a Wild Mustang!

Krotz Springs Elementary faculty and staff pre-planted their grass and plants as they prepared to provide nourishment to their “little mustangs” with tons of Positive Behavior Expectations though out the school year. It is evident that they have been superb in succeeding by providing advance preparation of PBIS yearly school-wide activities.

These mustangs have done a Super Job on devising “Mustang Bucks” and opening of a store which is filled with inventory of age appropriate items. In order to keep their store replenished, they have gotten the community involved through parental involvement, collaboration with McDonalds and fundraisers.

If you visit their campus, you will see superb evidence of data and collaboration with faculty through meeting notes, e-mails, posted results/graphs in lounge and workroom. The pictures of all events are outstanding as they are displayed throughout their BOP (Book of Products). The students seem to be really excited with the implementation of their Jr. Crew Members! Congratulations to Ms. Briana Briley (PBIS chairperson), Mrs. Ramica Robinson (Administrator), and the entire Krotz Springs Faculty and Staff for your dedication and hard work, not to mention your after-hours devotion. “Those who wish to pet and baby wild mustangs “love” them. But those who Respect their natures, provide Safe environments and take the Responsibility of nourishing their lives, “LOVE THEM MORE!”
