Summer Updates - 07/14/19
Happy New Year! The first day of school is right around the corner and I am so excited! I can't wait to share our successes from the GMAS and the EOY DAs. Once again we ROCKED! Yes....Shiloh ES is very nervous. :-)
We are going to kick off the year with our One Team, One Dream theme again. ILT voted to have this theme again because it really represented our school and our teams. The quote below by Virginia Burden represents the staff at Partee:
“Cooperation is the thorough conviction that nobody can get there unless everybody gets there.”
This quote aligns with our One Team, One Dream theme because it clearly articulates that we work together to achieve our goals. We help those who need assistance. We do what it takes to support our students. We hold each other accountable. We don't leave anyone behind! We are PARTEE GENERALS!
The official start day for teachers is July 29...in two weeks. So, enjoy your last few weeks of sleeping in, completing projects around the house, traveling, etc. Review the tentative pre-planning agenda attached to the email. Pay close attention to the flex-time information.
Get ready for an exciting new school year!
Generals Salute!

STAFFING UPDATES
Dr. deRoux - The county has reassigned Avadawn to Norton Elementary next school year. She is going to be working with the staff at Norton and pre-k staff in various clusters. We are going to miss her so much! She has served Partee ES for 11 years. She will only be a few minutes away....so we can still call her. :-)
Welcome to our newest Partee Generals:
Diane Casey - she is the new Administrative Assistant! She is going to be the new Mauri after she retires August 1. Diane Casey has been in the county for many years. She is currently a Bookkeeper at Brookwood Elementary. She is looking forward to joining the Partee family.
Tony West - the new psychologist that will be supporting Partee ES. He comes to us from Dekalb where he served in the same role. Avadawn will bring him by to meet us during the week of pre-planning.
Carolyn Rodriguez - as you all know, Angela Fisher is now an AP at Jenkins ES. Carolyn will be serving as our new eClass Specialist. She comes with great knowledge of the content and she loves technology. What a great combination!
