Our Current Website

Kaye received an email stating that teachers need to back up any SharePoint Teacher Website documents before the Go Live date if they wish to keep them. Those sites will be not be accessible after that time so it is in your best interest to do so ASAP.

This is NOT referring to Edmodo, Canvas, Google, etc. These websites are those SharePoint sites that may or may not have been used by teachers over the last eight years.

You should be able to save any of your documents to your computer, but if you need further instruction please let Kaye know.

Free Dell Laptop Computers!!

While checking our technology inventory at the KISD distribution center, we discovered a new Dell laptop cart with 30 computers that need a home. Interested?

As a little extra incentive for completing the Bright Bytes survey over the next week, we will give the new Dell laptop cart with 30 new computers to the campus with the greatest combined percentage of student, staff, and parent participation. The deadline for completion is Dec 31, 2015.

Keller ISD is partnering with BrightBytes technology survey to give a voice to the different communities (parents, teachers and students) at each campus. The data collected will help shape educational technology implementation as well as a planning tool for future professional learning. The short anonymous survey will allow each campus to have access to their own data for planning purposes and identify tracks and trends in their data.

In order to comply with House Bill 5 measures we have to collect stakeholders perceptions relating to digital learning opportunities in Keller ISD. This activity will not interrupt regular instruction as the survey is on-line and may be accessed 24/7 from any device with internet connectivity.

The survey window opens on Monday, November 30, 2015 and concludes on Friday, December 31, 2015.

Parents will be able to access the BrightBytes online survey from their students campus webpage.

The Teachers’ link will be accessed through K-Cloud under the Teacher tools menu, the students’ link will be accessed under the Classroom Applications menu.
