The Diatribe
In this year’s summer program (in-person and virtual options!) led by Grand Rapids Poet Laureate Kyd Kane, students will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in the art of poetry and self-expression. Each session will be used to explore elements of mindfulness and poetic form, giving students an opportunity to find comfort telling their own stories, in their own voices. We will use a variety of mediums to encourage and inspire the students to express themselves in new and inventive ways. While poetry will be at the center of each session, the goal is to get us more comfortable and familiar with being ourselves.
