Perfect Attendance for the Week of November 6th!
These are the awesome classes who earned perfect attendance this week:
*Ms. Ponder
*Ms. Daniel
*Ms. Nobles
Meet Ms. Nobles in 3rd Grade!
1. I am thankful for the support from my cohorts on my team. I am thankful for my life experiences teaching me to be a strong woman. Losing a parent at a young age can prepare you for the future in ways you could never imagine. Being self- motivated to achieve success is what makes me most proud.
2. I need a Sweet tea and some type of salty snack daily to survive.
3. If I was not a teacher I would be working in the Medical field still with children or pediatrics. I love to take care and help others.
4. Scissors-because I am very cut throat. I generally tell it how it is. I don’t like to sugarcoat or fluff to make it seem better.
5. When I am not at Hearne, I enjoy being with friends and family. I love outdoor activities especially water. I love being spontaneous and willing to go at the drop of a dimeFamily Engagement Week is here!
Meet Mrs. Law in 4th Grade!
1. I am thankful for my health and sound mind, because without this I wouldn't be an effective mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, friend or teacher.
2. Each day I need to know my family is ok, and I need chocolate.
3. If I weren't a teacher, I think I would be a child psychologist.
4. Paper describes me, because I can be smooth and I can be rough.
5. when I am not at Hearne, I am spending time with family or watching tv.
So many fun events! So many smiles! Awesome Team Work!
Behavior Management Strategies from Mr. Martinez
On November 16, 2017 I will be offering a professional development session called “Behavior Management for General Education Teachers.” If you are a General Education or Block Teacher who has special education students enter your room, I highly suggest attending this. We will explore behavior management strategies to help your room run as smoothly as possible. Lastly, we understand it is right before the break, so for those who participate, you will have a jean pass on that day. J I hope to see you there!
