Do your students believe in themselves
Often times when I talk with students about missing work or poor grades they are very tough on themselves. They don't believe in their abilities and this translates to a struggle in class both academically and behaviorally.

Congratulations!
Congratulations to Matt Bennett for being voted history teacher of the year by our local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Matt is up for the state DAR teacher of the year. Very worthy candidate!!
8th grade to Stone's Trace
This Friday is the annual 8th grade trip to Stone's Trace. 8th grade social studies teachers will be sending out details for the trip.
NWEA Make-Ups
This week during NE we will be calling students to the cafeteria to finish their NWEA tests.
