A Student Assistance Counselor (SAC) is an advocate who assists students and their families with substance use/abuse, mental health aspects and/or other school related concerns.
The SAC provides students with counseling and referral services with any incidents that may arise.
The SAC also presents information and resources for prevention, curriculum developments, instruction and implementation related to substance use/abuse, mental health and other related concerns.
