Folk Tales
We are reading lots of folk tales. The next day or so, they retell (narrate) and I help jog their memory of the storyline. They draw or make some artwork with details of the story, and decorate the pages with form drawing to help with letter formation and fine motor skills. Malia copies a few sentences to work on her cursive writing.
