The Golden Donut Award
The Golden Doughnut Award will be issued monthly by Ofc. Workman to a staff member AND student who shows outstanding commitment to school safety and security. The criteria are simple…. Any act or deed that promotes safety here at Columbia will be considered for the award and everyone is eligible for nominations.
The award will consist of a travelling trophy of a Golden Doughnut(for the staff only) as well as other varying prizes such as coffee gift cards, lunch vouchers, and car washes!
In this day and age Ofc Workman truly believes we need more positivity in our lives and this is one simple way that he feels he can help highlight what great things we are all doing around our school…
ISAT Testing Prep for 9th & 10th Graders
ISAT testing is coming up on Tuesday, April 13th for all 9th and 10th graders. To prepare for testing please make sure that your device headphone jacks are working, your volume is turned up, and the audio is heard loud and clear. Testing day please come with your device charged from the night before. Please also bring with you your charger and if you choose your own headphones to use. An important thought to also prepare for testing is to restart your computer while on campus to receive the latest updates to your device.
To prepare for 11th grade SAT testing, students are allowed to bring/use a calculator if it’s on the approved list, please check with the counselors if you have questions. Please leave your technology at home. Phones will need to be turned off while you are testing. Make sure to get plenty of rest the night before as well as having a good breakfast to start your day.
