PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
We hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend last week! Just a reminder that MAP testing will be starting next week. We are also still collecting pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House -- please keep collecting them and sending them in!
Show Your Stripes -- Take 2!!!! I think all of our LES Tiger Spirit helped propel the Bengals to a win last week! We are hoping for the same outcome this Sunday!!! Please check out our Loveland Elementary School Tigers Facebook page for some pretty cute pics! Please feel free to share and tag @Cincinnati Bengals! Let's bring those Bengals to LES!!!!
Have a great weekend!

From our Superintendent:
We are in the time of year when winter weather could force us to delay or cancel the start of school, so I want to remind our families how they will receive important information from Loveland City Schools during a closure or emergency.
We will send a call, text, and email in the event of a closure or emergency. The call will come from our Board of Education office at 513-683-5600. Please save this number in your contact list. If you miss this call, you’ll find the information in your voicemail or email. If your phone number or email address has changed, please go into Final Forms and update your contact information.
We will also share information about weather closures or delays with local television stations, and you can find it online in the following locations:

January and February Compassion Project!
100th Day of School Canned Food Drive
LES and LPS are partnering up to try and fill the shelves at the L.I.F.E. Pantry. The L.I.F.E. Pantry helps families in need right here in Loveland. Their shelves are especially low after the holidays. We'd like to challenge each classroom to bring in 100 food items by the 100th day of school. If we reach our goal of each classroom bringing in 100 "cans," we will collect 5,100 food items!! This will fall around the beginning of February. We will take ANY UNEXPIRED canned goods, or any other non-perishables like rice, pasta, condiments, and boxed staples (like Hamburger Helper or macaroni and cheese). Please contact Patsy Schlesselman at schlespa@lovelandschools.org if you have any questions or concerns. Here is the LIFE website if you would like more information about their mission. https://lifefoodpantry.org/mission/
Thanks in advance for making this food drive a success!!
