A Note from Mrs. Cockrell

Dear Chisholm Trail families,

Our Online Book Fair opens MONDAY, September 28! Here is the link for the Online Book Fair.

Families will have from September 28th - October 11th to order. All items are shipped to your home address instead of the school.

Please help us help your children by making sure they are able to open their lunch items you send in their lunches. We will continue to help them build these independent skills in the cafeteria, but it is helpful if they have easily accessible items. Some of the items you send could even be pre-opened when you pack them.

If you would like to request a change in learning platform for the next grading period which begins on October 20th, you must make this request on this link by Friday, OCTOBER 9th:

(This form link is for CHISHOLM TRAIL ONLY.)

Thank you for sharing your children with us!

Cari Cockrell

From Mrs. Hundley

The NED Show will be virtually presented to your children on October 1. NED's Mindset Mission is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance:

Never give up

Encourage others and

Do your best.

During the virtual assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks. Here is a link to the website if you would like more information.

Thank you for your continued support for our procedures this year. Children are arriving no earlier than 7:35 and entering the building safely, wearing masks.

We appreciate that you have your car tags hanging on your mirror at dismissal. In the case of a forgotten tag, we will do an ID check as efficiently as possible, but we may ask you to pull up ahead of the line and wait for a moment.

Helpful Reminders

Parents, please remember to label your children's belongings. (Water bottles, jackets, masks, lunch boxes, back packs, etc.) We want all items to stay with their rightful owners. When things are left behind, it is very tricky to return them if they are not labeled. Thank you for your help with this.
