As a district, our focus this year is on math instruction, with our teachers receiving Professional Development in this area throughout the year. As a school, we are focused on math instruction, as well, specifically in the area of Problem Solving. We will be building our students' skills in this area by having students:
- show their work,
- use academic language,
- break down more rigorous problems, and
- express their thinking and problem solving strategies with others
