Thornhill Elementary PFC Newsletter
Volume 25, Issue 27, March 16, 2018
This week, on March 14, students across the United States expressed their voices to address safety in schools. This was an incredible moment in time and students should always be taught to use their voices. I sent a letter via Konstella for parents to read regarding how we approached this day. I am proud to say we had a calm day and it was business as usual--aside from the rain that hampered some outdoor play. Thank you for your patience and know that your child's emotional and physical safety is important to us.
My highlight of the week was watching this self-organized game of pick up basketball during recess. If anyone knows Warriors coach Steve Kerr, let him know I have his starting lineup right here. Our Thunderbirds know how to play and show great sportsmanship when things get rough...
Enjoy your weekend, even if it is a rainy one...

Yes, May 30. The school year starts about a week earlier, and ends almost two weeks earlier than this year. Might as well start researching those 2019 summer camps now.
