Coats for Kids
Belton is partnering with Country Club bank to provide students in need. Please contact Mrs. Malone, the counselor, if you are interested at mamlone@bsd124.org or (816) 348-1130.
Tissues Needed!
The pipe under our sink in the classroom burst overnight, causing us to lose all of our tissue boxes. If you get a chance, please send one or two boxes in with your student! Thank you!
Health-E Kids
Health-E Kids screenings will be 10/6 & 10/7. This is a free service offered by the district, please just return the pink packet that was sent home last Friday. You will receive the results of your student's screening in a few weeks.
Mixtures and Solutions Lab
Students experimented with combining water, powdered clay, iron fillings and salt to define mixtures, solutions and suspensions. Some pictures are below:
Volume Sculptures
Students designed and built sculptures with the constraints of one prism being twice as large, and another prism being three times as large as another. Students found the total volume, then measured and built the sculptures from nets.
Breakfast Picnic
On October 8th from 8-8:45am, our school is honoring the special women in our student's lives. Please click the link below for specific information, and to RSVP.
No Friday Folders
There weren't any important papers to send home today, so students don't have a Friday folder tonight! Enjoy your weekend!
