Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

We have completed our first trimester! I have forwarded the list of students in grades 6 through 8 on the first trimester Honor Roll to The Item and the Bolton Independent. That list is also published below.

With one-third of the school year in the books, I am obligated to run our periodic attendance reports. If your child has missed more than 10 days this school year, you will be receiving a letter from my office detailing the number of days missed and or abbreviated (tardy) days. Attendance is a critical factor in student success. Please reach out to my office with any questions about attendance.

Yours in partnership,

Joel Bates,

Goal Setting Workshop for 7th and 8th graders - NRSD Extended Learning

We are pleased to announce a new six-week program starting in February, specifically for 7th & 8th graders, focused on goal setting. These interactive workshops will teach students how to develop S.M.A.R.T goals and help them prepare for high school.

In support of the District's Goal #1, "To intentionally integrate social-emotional practices across all settings in the Nashoba school community," these workshops will encourage students to have open conversations about their goals & dreams. Music and art will be integrated to inspire and engage students.

Space is limited and registration is required. Please see the Goal Setting Workshop flier for details. Click here to register your child.

Wishing you and your family a lovely holiday season.

Best regards,

Fssattendance protocol:

Please email the fssattendance@nrsd.net email address and cc: your child(ren)’s homeroom teacher with all dismissals, absences, tardies, or changes to pickup. Because this email address goes to both secretaries and both nurses, it ensures that, even when the classroom teacher is absent, we get the information to get your student where he/she needs to be. All FSSattendance emails must copy the homeroom teacher and include the following information:

1) Student’s First and LAST name,

2) Grade and Home Room Teacher,

3) Bus # if a change from regular bus.

All emails having to do with a change in bus or bus stop for child care reasons as well as a change in person meeting student at the drop off must copy the bus company at donnadeebus@gmail.com as well. Once received, the school will provide the student with a bus pass.
