From Our Family To Yours: Happy Thanksgiving!
Here we go! From turkeys to Advent wreaths and Christmas trees, the holiday season has arrived!
And...happy Advent! Advent begins this coming weekend. In our classrooms, we'll gather around our Advent wreaths in prayer as we prepare for the Coming of the Lord. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!
Special congratulations to Cardinal Cupich on his elevation to Cardinal over the weekend!
May God continue to bless him and guide his journey.

(Fundraiser) PENNY WARS is Coming to SAS During Catholic Schools' Week!
In a fundraising effort for Student Council, classes will compete for prizes. Makes 'cents'!

Factoid #2) Every penny will earn the class a point.
Factoid #3) Non-pennies (nickels, dimes, dollar bills, $20 bills will deduct points from a class' total. Example: third grade has 150 pennies in their jar; second grade tosses a dollar into the third grade jar...100 points would be deducted at the day's counting from that jar. Third grade's total would be then be 50 cents (points). Remember only pennies are points.
Factoid #4) The class with the highest total will win a great prize package!
Factoid #5) The class with the second highest total will also win a prize.
Factoid #6) Student Council will play an integral part in counting the pennies.
Factoid #7) Prizes for the top two classes will be awarded.

Emergency Closing Information
- http://www.emergencyclosingcenter.com - You can sign up to receive an email from this website shortly after I notify the site of a closure. This is the service that the newscasts utilize to notify the Public of a school closing. When you see the "crawl" at the bottom of a newscast, it came from this website that principals update.
- SchoolMessenger Phone Call - A recorded message is sent to your specified numbers
- Facebook - Like us at Saint Ann Catholic School, Lansing
- Remind - Teachers often will post a closure to their Remind texting accounts
- Please do not call the school to see if school is open; more than likely we are not at school when the decision for an emergency closing is made.
