COVID-19 Week of March 16, 2020
CMMS Students and Families,
Thank you for all of your patience and flexibility while we navigate this challenging opportunity together! This S'MORE will provide general information about what to expect for the remainder of this week, and what's to come for the next few weeks. Please remember, this is an evolving situation, and we will update you with any changes ASAP.
Students, For This Week Be Sure To...
- Check email every morning!
- Keep your apps and iPads updated!
- Submit your SLC slides to advisory teacher by the end of the week!
- Make sure you are on top of everything you need to complete for the end of Trimester 2!
- Follow all the directions provided to you by your teachers!
- Get into a good daily routine!
- Email with any questions or if you need any type of support!
Toward the End of This Week and/or Beginning of Next Week...
- Continue to check email every morning and afternoon!
- Look out for new online learning opportunities from your teachers!
- If any of your classes are changing at the trimester, look for communication from your new teacher!
- Fully engage with your online learning experiences so you can make progress on essential standards!
- Be flexible, we are all learning and will keep fine tuning our system over the next few weeks!
- Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Work Hard!
State Testing:
Please be aware that ALL STATE TESTING is canceled for this school year! More information regarding class placement for the following school year will be shared at a later date. Please contact Mrs. Corpuz with any questions.

Information and Supports During our Closure
SUPPORT EXPECTATIONS:
If you are coming to Cougar Mountain, please make sure you have communicated in advance with our office staff, library staff or directly with your teacher. CMMS is only open for these planned reasons from 10:00 AM to 1:00PM. When you arrive, please be aware that we are only letting one family in at a time, and each member needs to sanitize their hands before entering. If you are coming to pick up breakfast/lunch, please drive around to the back side of our building. For all other reasons listed below please come to the front of the building and ring our bell.

***If you are picking up breakfast/lunch at CMMS, please be sure to sign up ahead of time using this LINK FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH SUPPORT
***Library books can be placed on hold through gofollett.com using your mybethel login information. These books can be picked up in the library between 10:00-1:00 daily. PLEASE NOTE: Students will not be allowed to browse in the library (at school) only pick up holds.

TUTORIALS FOR VARIOUS ONLINE PLATFORMS
As we go, we will provide some videos and step by step directions for the various platforms that students and teachers will be using. Below are the student directions for how to begin using Zoom. PLEASE NOTE: Teachers may be interacting with students using Zoom, and if they schedule this they will provide a link via email or a calendar invite for students to use. Until students receive this specific information from their teacher, they do not need to login to Zoom.
***MOST STUDENTS ALREADY USE MOST OF THE PLATFORMS THAT WILL BE USED SUCH AS CANVAS, PEAR DECK, AMPLIFY, NOTABILITY, KHAN ACADEMY, ETC.
