Uniting people to pray in the Greater Sacramento Region.
Seek God for the City
You receive this newsletter because you love to pray and because you love to pray with others. What happens when we pray? We are hearing the word of the Lord; we are responding to his voice; we are agreeing with heaven for the kingdom of God to advance on the earth; we are seeing the world around us change! But, something very fundamental happens within me when I pray. My mind is changed, my heart is softened, my will is strengthened as I pray. Holy Spirit is shaping in me a greater capacity to see, hear and know God as I encounter the people and the world around me. I begin seeing with God’s vision and growing in compassion for the diverse reality of the peoples in my community and city that God the Father passionately loves and for whom Jesus Christ died.
Yesterday was “Ash Wednesday”, the beginning of lent, a journey of 40 days to Palm Sunday and Holy Week. It is a season to enter into stronger prayer individually and as God’s people. I want to enthusiastically, and with greatest urgency, encourage you to join me in praying in this season using Seek God for the City as a guide. Pray in the heart of the city at Suite 2:10 (2830 G St., Sacramento) every Wednesday until April 1 from 12-1pm with others using this guide. Pray with a group at your church. Pray with your family in your neighborhood. Pray with a co-worker during break. Let’s raise the level of prayer rising to our Father and deepen the well of our own compassion for the city during this season.

My City Conference this Weekend
One event that we are highlighting for your prayer at this time is My City, led by Pastor Cole Zick this weekend - February 19-21. This is a regional gathering of our young people and youth minsters, unifying them in One Body and One Spirit, as it works to strengthen, encourage and edify them in Christ Jesus. Pastor Cole Zick and his wife Caitlin greatly appreciate your prayer! http://www.actsonline.net/event/city/
"My City Conference has been created to unite pastors and inspire students to impact their circles of influence for God. Youth and young adults from across Northern California will come together to answer the call that God gave Solomon, 'If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land.' (2 Chronicles 7:14) Through prayer, worship, powerful teaching and unity, we believe God will hear our prayers and heal our cities. As Northern California comes together we believe God will break strongholds in our land. We are better together. We are claiming the fulfillment of the promise that is spoken in 2 Chronicles 14:7 'The land is still ours because we have sought the Lord our God.'

Praise Report from Roseville
We are experiencing a beautiful and powerful move of the Holy Spirit in every one of our services: physical healings, emotional healings, addictions broken, people filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit, powerful and life-changing presence of the Holy Spirit as we seek Him at the altar!!! Just BEAUTIFUL.....and there was a significant "change" about 3 weeks ago. All of the above has BEEN happening, but.....about 3 weeks ago, it was.... somehow....."different".....don't really know how to explain it, but.....different. We recognize very clearly these are strategic times, that we are int he end tiems that all of Christianity has looked forward to, and that we are only in the beginning of things beginning to ramp up! We expect signs, wonders & miracles on a daily basis, and we expect to be used mightily by God--individually and as a church body!!! EXCITED!!!
Abundant Life, Roseville
Thank You!
