To our VG Community,
I hope everyone had a good first week back from Spring Break and enjoyed the nice weather. Both Remote and In Person students enjoyed wearing their PJ's today to enjoy National Pajama Day...any excuse for a spirit day; especially in PJ's.
I want to give a special shout out to Erin Moayedi and Sophia de Bruyn who stepped up to become the auction chairs for THE AMAZING RACE...they have worked so hard, along with their amazing team of parent volunteers to make this incredible event come to life. Also, a special should out to our very own Mr. Glimme or should I say, "Suzie Grande" who is a real star!!!
We are all so excited to see this incredible event not only help VG programs but also help our Danville businesses! THANK YOU!!!! I know it will be AMAZING! If you have not bought your ticket yet...see the details below!
Your principal,
:) Osi Juergens
REMINDER: TIME SENSITIVE
Virtual Academy 21/22 School Year
DUE THIS TUESDAY - April 20th
THE SRVUSD Virtual Academy will be available to families who wish to continue with a remote learning option for the 2021-22 school year.
The San Ramon Valley Unified School District believes that all of our students are best served in an in-person learning environment.
We recognize that due to the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, that some families may need or choose to continue to remain in a remote learning environment for the 2021 - 2022 school year.
The proposed Virtual Academy will allow these families with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade to continue learning in a remote setting for the entirety of the 2021 - 2022 school year.
April 20: Enrollment Deadline
Commitments from families to the Academy will be required by April 20th, so that there will be time before summer break to plan for staffing.
Please see the info. below for details regarding:
- Your enrollment at VG if you enroll at The Virtual Academy
- Once Virtual Academy program specifics are announced, parents will have two weeks to rescind their transfer application and return to their home school (See Frequently Asked Questions Document on the Virtual Academy Webpage for more details)
Students who are returning to in-person learning for fall 2021 do not need to do anything further to declare your intention. Only those students who apply to the Virtual Academy will be considered for remote learning. Everyone else will be in-person.
