Daily Homework (Unless noted on folder):

Important Information

School Hours:

8:40a.m.-3:20p.m.

Absences:

Please call telsafe and let us know you child will not be in school. If you know your child is going to be out, please send me an email.

Transportation:

If you plan to pick up your child that normally rides the bus you must send in a written note or contact the office. Do not rely on your child to tell us this information, because he or she may become confused and relay the information incorrectly. If no written note or phone call is received, your child will be sent home by his/her usual method of transportation.

Folder:

Your child will have a Home/School folder. Please empty your child’s work and information each evening. Please send in all notices, lunch money, absentee notes, bus notes, etc. in the folder. We check folders daily J We do not have a chance to check backpacks L

Lunch:

Lunch is daily from 12:55-1:40 pm in the cafeteria. Please send in your child’s lunch money in a small plastic baggie labeled with your child’s name and amount enclosed. I have found that baggies labeled at home with permanent marker or masking tape work better than envelopes.

Snack:

We will have a small snack each day. Please send in a small healthy snack and drink for your child. PLEASE let me know if your child has any food allergies.

Birthday Treats:

Simple treats may be sent to school on your child’s birthday- this is OPTIONAL! There will be a day at the end of the year to celebrate all summer birthdays. If you are going to bring in treats, the best time is in the afternoon around 2:40.

Share schedule:

Students will share once a week. They will be able to bring in 1 small toy, momento, book, photo to share with the class. The children are practicing oral expressive language skills, speaking in front of a group, listening skills, and being a good audience while sharing their interests.

Fun Friday:

Every Friday is “FUN FRIDAY!” Students will be able to bring in their share on this day.
