Message from the Principal: Sept. 21st
Happy Wednesday!This week, we will come together for Back to School Night. It will be held from 6 - 7:30 pm on Thursday night (tomorrow). During this evening, you will have an opportunity to visit with the entire school staff, learn more about exciting new events and enrichment activities, better understand the fundraising program for this year, check out volunteer opportunities, and attend a session with your child's/children's' teacher(s). From 6 - 6:25, we will be in the auditorium. Beginning at 6:30, we will begin the 15 minute "teacher sessions" in the classrooms. If you only need to visit one teacher, you may leave after the first session. You can also visit with our specialists. This is a very important evening and anyone who attends will be given 1 volunteer hour for attending!! This is an "adults only" evening, so please make arrangements for at least one parent to attend. I hope to see you there!!

Calling All Volunteers!
Are you looking to get a jump start on your volunteer hours before school starts? Here are some volunteer opportunities:- Recess Duty - If you can come to the school between 12 pm and 1 pm any day of the week, we would love to have recess helpers to supervise the kids. Extra eyes are always appreciated!!
Welcome, Mr. Scott!
Mr. Scott Delva is our new PE teacher and afternoon Extended Care Supervisor for K through 8. He comes to us from NYC and Florida and has a wealth of experience working with mentoring kids. Please welcome him to our community!

If you haven't completed your Free and Reduced Federal Meal Applications, please do so immediately. If you do not apply or do not qualify, you will be billed for all meals that your child/ren consume/s. September meals will be billed out in October. A big welcome back to all our returning families and a warm welcome to the new families that are joining the Holy Rosary School community. I hope that the transition back to school is going well for you all. I wanted to take a moment to reach out to talk about our Annual Fund Appeal that kicks off this month and runs through November. This year we are asking all families to participate by making a donation to this fund. This year’s goal is $100,000! The funds raised support curriculum and materials, along with funding teacher’s salaries. No donation is too small. You can choose to make a one time donation or you can pledge a monthly amount. Consider giving $25 a month for ten months which provides a total donation of $250. This year we are hoping for 100% support from our school families at amounts appropriate to their individual abilities.
