A Special Applause to...

If you see Lorinda, thank her for all of her work with Whatever Wednesdays! I love the time she has created to support staff in whatever they would like help with. She has made it fun, with food, and giveaways. Additionally, if you haven't seen the 5in5, they are really good!

Staffing Update

As many of you know by now, Andy Gruber will returning to is Alma Mater (St. Xavier) to work as a director in the admissions office. Andy has made such an impact on the Greene School over the past decade and he will be greatly missed.

Sally Ganz is also leaving Greene. She will be named the next assistant principal at Montgomery Elementary. If you see Sally, congratulate her!

We have sent several recommendations over to the board office. I will begin to share the names and positions after they meet with human resources. With that said, I am exited to retain a fantastic student teacher. Olivia Masuck, who has student taught with Matt and Elise on the Gray Team this year, will be joining our science department on the Red Team next year! Please send her a message and help me welcome her to Greene! Here is her email:

April PD Day

We have been working hard to plan a worthwhile professional development day. HERE is the agenda. The work on this day will center around the culturally responsive practices goals for this year.

Earth Day

As Louie discussed at the staff breakfast last week, we are planning a wonderful Earth Day event for our students. Click HERE to see the details.

Additional Details:

  • EA's will need to be ready to get on the bus at 7:30 if the student they are with is participating. Check with the Teacher of Record to see.
  • Single Accelerated Gifted Teachers: We will need you to report to the student drop off areas to help with students who are not walking/riding. 5th grade teachers need to supervise the cafe entrance and 6th grade the main entrance. Keep them in those locations until 8:15. Tony will block off the playground area. You will bring them outside to the blacktop until the rest of the students/staff arrive.
  • Specials teachers who have duty - you will need to report to your duty beginning at 7:55 until we begin school at approximately 8:30. If you do not have duty and would like to help with supervision and walk with us, get on the bus at 7:30.
